Sean “Diddy” Combs is in jail awaiting his trial on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Simultaneously, he has been accused of sexual assault by numerous people, and several civil lawsuits have already been filed. Now, one of his accusers has gone public: Anna Kane, who is the ex-wife of NHL ice hockey star player Evander Kane.

To date, over 100 people have accused him of sexual assault. In court documents, Ms. Kane was named as one of Mr. Combs’ accusers. She was married for three years to Evander Kane, who plays Left Wing for the Edmonton Oilers.

In court, Ms. Kane was ordered by the judge to share her identity in order to participate in the lawsuit. She alleges that Mr. Combs, with others, sexually assaulted her in 2023 in a New York City recording studio. At the time of the alleged assault, Ms. Kane was 17 years old and a minor.

Initially, Ms. Kane wanted to remain anonymous in her filing made in December 2023 and was listed as “Jane Doe.” Despite her prior reservations about going public with her identity, she agreed to allow the court to use her real name.

In a public statement published on the popular culture and celebrity news site TMZ, Ms. Kane, via her attorney, said that she was committed to the lawsuit against Mr. Combs.

"I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager," Ms. Kane said in her statement. "Defendants' demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated… I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me."

In the suit, Ms. Kane alleges Mr. Combs and others “gang raped” her at the New York City recording studio.

Court documents include 120 people, 25 of whom where were minors at the time of the alleged assaults, accusing Mr. Combs of sexual assault. One of the accusers was ten years old at the alleged time of their assault.

The attorney for the accusers is Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee. At a press conference, he said that the numerous lawsuits have been or will be filed in different states. He accused Mr. Combs of "violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings [and] sexual abuse of minors."

Mr. Combs denies the allegations made by the scores of accusers in his various civil lawsuits. Meanwhile, he remains in detention regarding the criminal charges pending against him. He has been denied bail three times.
